What should I get after a new boiler is fitted?
A completed Benchmark commissioning checklist, the manufacturer's guarantee registered in your name, and a Building Regulations compliance certificate, which usually arrives by post a few weeks after the installation is notified.
How long is the guarantee on a new boiler?
Up to 12 years. We fit boilers with 5, 7, 10 and 12 year manufacturer warranties, so you can pick the one that suits your budget. To keep the warranty valid, the boiler needs servicing every year.
Does a new gas boiler have to be fitted by a Gas Safe engineer?
Yes. By law, anyone who fits or works on a gas boiler must be on the Gas Safe Register.
Do you do emergency call-outs?
No, we focus on planned boiler and heating work. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
How can I check you're Gas Safe registered?
Ask us for our registration number. You can check it at gassaferegister.co.uk or by calling the Gas Safe Register on 0800 408 5500.
What work do you do?
Mainly heating: new boilers, heating upgrades and central heating installations, plus repairs, servicing and gas safety checks. We take on general plumbing work too.
